An Afternoon in Taipei's LungShan Temple - Former Featured Gallery

I recently spent a few hours at Taipei's LungShan Temple. This is one of Taiwan's oldest temples, and is situated in one of the oldest parts of Taipei. The area is full of old buildings, faces, and habits ... the area (not the temple) is still famous for prostitution and the recently renamed famed tourist attraction, "Snake Alley." Regardless of the specific religion, there are a few things that are abundant in most temples in Taiwan. As the photos illustrate, LungShan Temple is filled with worshipers, candles, incense, flowers and tables full of offerings.
