Riding Taipei's Bus System - Sharing Adventure with the People of Taipei

While busses have been plying the streets of Taipei for ages, recent times have seen improvements to the quality of the busses themselves as well as the creation of bus-only traffic lanes. On a small crowded island, in a smaller even more crowded city, public transportation stands to play a critical role in the reshaping of Taipei from an east-Asian laughing stock into a highly liveable, respectable city on the world scale. Initially intimidated by Chinese-only bus routes and their non-scheduled nature, I've grown to enjoy the busses and the people that ride them.
