XingTian Gong - Black, White and Colour at Taipei's XingTian Temple

After LungShan Temple, XingTian Temple (also written Hsingtien Temple) is arguably Taipei's most famous temple. Situated within earshot of the SungShan Domestic Airport, the temple is constantly bubbling with activity inside and out. These photos were shot over the course of a single afternoon -- my goal was to simply capture moments in the temple rather than to try and document the temple as a whole. As you can see, the often repetitious temple life also breathes in many subtle nuances that keep things interesting.
