November is always a tough month for outdoor shooting -- the leaves are gone, the time changes so non-working daylight hours are hard to find. Fortunately there are still lots of things to keep me entertained -- a great Sam Roberts concert being one of those things.

I seem to notice signs a lot, especially when they go above and beyond the ordinary. Instead of simply 'no parking', this one takes it further, and specifically calls out that there is no parking allowed for Starbucks (patrons).

Sam Roberts and his band played a great show to an incredibly small crowd at Shank Hall -- it seems that word about Sam hasn't spread to the Midwest yet.

The sign reads ... 'Do not swim, wade or play in water or river bed - soils in river contain hazardous chemicals'. No matter how many times I see this, I just can't get used to it.
