DennisFlood.com Photos of the Week - December 2006

I'm told that all good things must come to an end. These photos represent the end of my three-year 'Photo of the Week' project. Like many of the previous 36 months, my photos from this month are a combination of shots influenced by the weather, my surroundings both new and old, and the random things that have caught my eye. Please take some time and use the drop-down menu under the search box to flip through previous months of photos. If you see something you like, why not send me a note and tell me about it. Thanks for looking.

What

What's that colour called?
December 30, 2006
I often see colours, but don't know their 'real' name ... like these seats in the airport ... are they blue? Teal? Aqua? Or is there some new-age word that I've never even heard of before? Colour or color, whichever you prefer, it certainly keeps life interesting.

Not much activity here on Christmas Eve, so a photo of a tiny wooden ornament will have to do.

Who

Who's Keeping Score?
December 02, 2006
Looks like either nobody is keeping score, or the game hasn't started yet. Never seen a scoreboard like this? You should curl more.

My Kind of People

My Kind of People
December 01, 2006
These are my kind of people. Never mind the huge dump of snow or the fact that drivers haven't seen snow in half a year ... these guys are taking to the streets with reckless abandon. My kind of people. Tomorrow I will join you.

The Sign Says Walk

The Sign Says Walk
December 01, 2006
The sign says walk, but I have a feeling that not many people felt like walking. The wind, the snow, the ice ... if you ask me, walking is a much better option than driving in weather like this!

December first, and winter is here with a very big bang. Heavy snow early in the morning. Welcome to Wisconsin (Avenue).
